Q.How can I tell when I need to replace coil springs?

A.Weak or worn springs lower the chassis height of a vehicle causing it to sag, which results in premature tire wear and poor handling characteristics. If your vehicle is sagging, have it checked by a professional shop.

Q.Which end is installed up?

A.The configuration of the ends of a replacement spring should remain nearly identical to that of the original equipment spring. In some cases, a white dot on the spring and/or label that says “this end up” will help identify the correct orientation.

Q.Do I need special tools to install the spring?

A.Most suspensions require a coil spring compressor to compress the spring during installation.

Q.When I install my new springs, will the height of my vehicle change?

A.Over time, your original equipment springs may sag. The replacement springs are designed to return your vehicle to the factory recommended height. The vehicle may sit high initially. Allow the replacement springs to settle.

Q.How do I find the right part number for my vehicle?

A.Visit and select the Parts Finder feature. You can look up your part by entering your vehicle information, VIN number, license plate number or competitor part number.
